Terms of Service

The ground rules for buying tickets, running events and using TicketIt.

LAST UPDATED · JULY 2026

01

Your agreement with us

These Terms of Service govern your use of TicketIt — our websites, apps and services for discovering events, buying tickets and running your own. By creating an account or buying a ticket, you agree to these terms.

If you are using TicketIt on behalf of an organization, you confirm you have authority to accept these terms for that organization.

02

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login details safe and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us right away if you spot activity you did not authorize.

You must be at least 18, or have a parent or guardian agree to these terms on your behalf, to buy or sell tickets.

03

Buying tickets

When you buy a ticket, you are entering a contract with the event organizer — not with TicketIt. We provide the platform that makes the sale, payment and entry work.

Every ticket carries a unique QR pass. Keep it private: anyone who presents it first may be admitted, and a pass can only be scanned once.

  • Prices are shown inclusive of any platform fees before you pay.
  • Ticket availability is not guaranteed until your payment completes.
  • Refunds and transfers are handled under our Refund Policy.
04

Selling as an organizer

If you list an event, you are responsible for running it as described, honoring valid tickets and complying with local laws, licensing and safety rules.

You grant TicketIt permission to display your event details, images and branding across the platform to promote your sales. You keep ownership of your content.

We charge a commission on tickets sold, as set out on our pricing page. Free events are commission-free.

05

Acceptable use

Keep TicketIt safe for everyone. You agree not to:

  • Resell or duplicate tickets in a way that breaks an organizer’s rules or the law.
  • Scrape, overload or interfere with the platform or its security.
  • List fraudulent, misleading or unlawful events.
  • Use another person’s payment details or identity.
06

Liability

TicketIt provides the platform “as is”. We are not the organizer and are not responsible for an event’s cancellation, quality or safety — though we will help you claim a refund where one is due.

To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the fees we earned on the transaction it relates to.

07

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the platform evolves. If a change is significant, we will let you know by email or in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use TicketIt after that means you accept the new terms.
